Social change happens when there is a deviation in phenomenon that may occur in society. According to Ravitch and Carl (2016) social change may occur due to an action or inaction. Social change can be anything from staring organizations that relate to issues regarding injustices or combating social problems to changing policy and/or campaigning for legislative action.
