You’re sitting inside your car waiting for the stoplight to turn green and you look out your window and see three teenagers smoking cigarettes thinking it's making them look cool what would you do? Would you stand up and try to talk them out of smoking or would you ignore it? Smoking does a lot of bad things on your body, it will give you a cough that you can’t get rid of as long as you're smoking cancer sticks. Nearly sixteen million Americans are living with disease due to smoking and about four hundred and eighty thousand people die annually smoking. Smoking while pregnant can cause your baby to have asthma and have to suffer their whole lives because of their mothers mess up. Also by your mess-up it will affect others with second hand smoke. Second hand smoke kills approximately forty one thousand people a year and first hand smoke kills four hundred thousand people a year which is one of the highest mortality rates in america. Ways people die from smoking exceed as heart disease, lung cancer, and lip/mouth cancer. Heart disease gives you excruciating pain and heart attacks which will inevitably send you to the hospital. Lung cancer hurts the person and puts them in isolation from other people because lung cancer patients have to go through chemotherapy which is basicly waging war on two different illnesses. Chemotherapy is known to get people sick easier by destroying the entire immune system but it can get rid of cancerous cells

Smoking burns and there is no doubt about that, but before one picks up that cigarette, understand the negative effects on not only oneself, but others affected by ones poor choices, like second-hand smoke.
