Understanding Quality:
No matter where you work , schools , university , hospital , software house all they rely on a one specific thing by which they can judge their progress by getting feedbacks of the peoples. The thing is QUALITY, the most important weapon in any organization to optimize the product.
Quality often used to signify the excellence of a service that conforms the professionalism.

We define Quality in two types
1) Reactive quality: Taking out the defectives
2) Proactive quality: Create or manufacture process that produces no defects

An approach to doing a business that maximize the profit of an organization through the continual improvement of the quality of its products.

What is Six Sigma?
The name “six sigma” refers to a complexity ( + - ) of six standard deviations.
The term “Six Sigma “ was derived by a Motorola man named Bill smith, and the term sigma means the distribution or separation of average ( mean ) over any given process for testing a process that how well the process is performing , "is performing , the higher the sigma distribution the higher"
Six sigma is basically a technique that provides tools to improve the capability functioning and quality of their organization. This enhances the performance of an organization that leads to less reduction and improvements in profits of an organization.
These are the basic elements of a TQM approach and this has not changed no matter how many worldly approaches and techniques come along.
Six Sigma is addition of TQM, by which it leads process and product quality to that level where all customer requirements are meet.
The main thing will be focused after apply six sigma is to increase profits by eliminating defects and bugs from our products that undermine the customers loyalty.
