Should Voting Age Be Lowered?

Some countries and states think voting age should be lowered. It a certain age in the United States to vote it was 21 then it went down to 18 years old. Since the voting age has been lower before it can be lower again. They want to go further and change the voting age to 16 years old. In recent years, the issue about voting age has been talked about in some countries and states. Some people think the voting age shouldn’t be lowered because they think kids that 16 years old don’t know nothing. Kids that are 16 years old do know something about the government and elections because they go to school and the teachers teach them some 16 years old should have the right to vote they know what they doing and it gone be their responsibility
The voting age should be lowered so 16 years old can vote as well. The major problem is that some people think voting age should not be lowered but other people think it should be lowered. It should be lowered because they gave 18 years old a chance to vote at elections. This issue about voting age have been in the society for about 45 years. The issue affect all the 16 years old kids that really want to vote for the next president. Some kids are a very big part of their community and their neighborhood. “At 16, a young person is very much part of their community and it is an easier time in which to start voting than at 18 when young people start to move out of home, to college or to work - setting out on their own journey in life” (Bryne). 18 years old really don't think about voting or elections they just want to start their life. Also, 16 year olds still live with their parents so they basically are part of the community that they are in. Some 18 years old sometimes forget what they learn about the government but 16 years old still in school and learning about the government and presidents. 16 years old is affected by it because they want to be part of voting and also it give them a chance to say their opinions by voting for whoever they want to be president. Lowering the voting age can be better for democrats. “ Some experts even say that lowering the voting age might even lower the proportion of young voters that vote for Democrats” (Lee). Democracy can benefits from a larger more electorate. Democrat would have more percent of the 16 years old voting for them and the Republicans would have least percent of the 16 years old voting for them (Brodey). Democrat basically have more a chance to win then the republicans if 16 years old was able to vote. It also possible that republicans can have a better chance to win then the Democrat because 16 years old can vote either for a democrat or
