Have you ever been hungry during class well I have. Kids need to eat in the mornings or else their stomach’s will be upset. That’s why we need a vending machine. Vending machines should be allowed in school because we get hungry sometimes. Sometimes we don’t eat breakfast in the morning. Firstly we need vending machines because sometimes people don’t eat in the mornings and afternoons. We need vending machines for students that get hungry during the day. We could earn more money for our school. We could help our friends out by buying them a snack. We need vending machines to fill our hunger. Secondly we need vending machines incase we don’t eat lunch. We will stay focused during school time. We will have a greater
This doesn’t help kids focus in the classroom for hours after consuming these fatty and sugary foods. The kids will get a sugar high but then crash hours after and won’t be focusing in class but instead, falling asleep during an important lesson. Anita states that, “school cafeterias, of all places, should demonstrate how a healthy, low-fat, well-balanced diet produces healthy, energetic, mentally alert people,” and teaching this at high schools is the best place to change the food because in this generation, kids are becoming overweight and unhealthy because of all the “junk food” they are eating. Teenagers in high school tend to eat more when they are stressed, so if they serve unhealthy foods in the cafeterias then the student will eat the “junk food”, but if the “junk” is switched with fruits, vegetables, and some salads then the students wouldn’t have the sugar high and be focused
In December of 1947, there was a “World’s Fair of vending machines” in Chicago with over 5,000 attendees. The Billboard magazine used to set aside their final 15-25 pages to focus exclusively on the vending machine industry for all their issues released from the start of the 1930s up until 1970. The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) continues to hold big conventions annually for companies in the business, from the well-known soda corporations to unheard of companies manufacturing and managing the machines all around us. Today the vending machine business is approximately a thirty billion dollar industry (Atkins 2016). Most people do not give the large quiet boxes very much thought but the development of vending machines has
Do you know what a fidget spinner is? Do you think that fidgets should be allowed at school? In my opinion, I believe that fidgets should not be banned from schools, even if teachers want them gone.
Fidget spinners are the latest craze in schools across America. Purposed for ADHD and anxiety, the spinners have turned into fun gadgets, being sold out at many 7-Elevens and other retailers. They are not being used for their marketed reasons and are no longer a learning tool but a toy. Fidget spinners should not be allowed in school because they are distracting, used for the wrong purposes, and have caused harm to many children and adults.
In “Hooked on ‘Caramel-Colored Gold,” Melody Nelson claims “Despite the increased awareness of the benefits of good nutrition, we are a nation hooked on junk food, and many school administrators are taking advantage of the situation ” (par. 3). Nelson propose a ban on vending machines in schools because junk food is unhealthy for children, and they risk future health problems. I agree with Melody Nelson and believe that vending machines should be banned from school campuses, because they sell unhealthy food, they cause more money to schools for hiring extra custodians, and they are affecting children learning abilities.
There is quite a controversy surrounding the use of tracking badges, on students or otherwise. “Is it security, or spying?” that’s the main question, and it seems that the controversy is postponing the installation of this new technology, yet the problems against the badges are flimsy at best. They should be used in schools, honestly people should try the badges out before they dismiss them as being spy machines. Students should wear tracking badges because they will be less likely to misbehave if they know they’re being tracked, the badges can also help police to find lost kids or kidnaped kids, plus parents won't have to worry about whether or not their child is where they’re supposed to be.
In other words, the food is not delicious and there are not many choices. Also, when children don’t get proper nutrition, they have trouble focusing on school. Most students do not buy lunch because they feel it is unappealing and do not like the food served. Many students go to other kids and ask for food. In addition, many students do not eat breakfast, so they rely on lunch to fuel them for the day.
How could are schools use our money wisely. Maybe it goes to the teachers. Maybe it goes to are academics. Or maybe just maybe it goes to the students. First thing first, cafeteria. The students think that vending machines are very necessary because it would shorten the lunch lines. The students who are really hungry could get lunch faster. Also more lunch lines would be easier to get are food. Second, school busses. For the parents that work early in the morning and are always rushing, this could help them out. Students would get to school on time and parents don't have to stress about getting their kids to school. And there could be a bus for each town. Now, finally new subjects. New subjects would expand our minds and we could learn new
First, vending machines should be allowed at schools because they help to fill kids up. Lots of school lunches don’t provide enough food to fill kids up. If kids aren’t full then they can get something from the vending machine. A North Babylon student, Djai Baker said, “If there wasn’t vending machines, I would starve from 7:30 to 2:05. Between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner
Without them, it could possibly cause many problems. Vending machines provide fast, quick cravings. First of all, it gives easy access of snacks and foods for students during school. (Debate.org) Which would prevent students from starving half of the day. That is if they do not have money in their lunch account and have loose change.
Today’s cell phone is the front line technology at our fingertips. Keeping this in mind the use of cell phones have become an affair when it comes to allowing teens to use them in educational environments, such as schools. One part of society supports the use of cell phones while the other part of society disapproves the use of cell phones. I personally believe that cell phones should not only be allowed in school, but cell phones should be mandatory just like a textbook. Cell phones do not only allow students to stay united with friends and family, but cell phones are also a magnificent learning system, and they boost the liable use of technology.
Why food is not allowed in class Food shouldn’t be allowed in a classroom because it's a distraction. Kids should be paying attention to their importance of education instead of eating in class. That's why they have a thing called lunch, after school, before school, and passing period. Kids these days eat all the time like at school, home, park, gym, classroom, and other places you can go to.

There is no doubt that almost all people in developed country using mobile phones, from teen until old peoples. They are using mobile phones for business communication, keeping contact with family and friends, and even just followed the trends. This essay will focus on using mobile phones in elementary and high schools. There are many disadvantages of using mobile phones in school such as, students use mobile phones for cheating, as well as that can destroy concentration while study in classroom. Locally, the high schools have begun to understand this growing need and have issued laptops to all students in the freshman classes. This is just a first step. The teachers must now make good use of these new tools and help the students understand the how, when, where, and why of their gifts. It will be awhile before education can afford to catch up to societies needs, but if we recognize the need now, changes can be made to ensure that our next generation will be prepared for the future. A future were bugs are very different from insects, surfing requires no water and viruses have nothing to do with infection.
