Should The U.S. End Overseas Military Operations? The U.S. has been sending troops to over-sea countries to aid the needy, and take certain measures to try to keep our country safe. We want to help the innocent lives, care for the civilians, and want them to be free. We help other countries so that maybe one day they can stand on their own! Power is everything. Power is what controls the world, and without it, you become weak. When we help other countries, that shows how powerful we are, and how strong we are to stand on our on and help! The U.S is considered to be the superpower in the world. Therefore, it should use its power to help other countries in need. Yes, we have a lot of problems with our government,
His rank at retirement was Lieutenant Colonel. The specific job that he had in the air-force was a C-130 air crew member, and he worked with combat missions for the first Gulf War, doing air drops for combat troops and their equipment. He is highly intelligent when it comes to this topic, so I asked for his input on this and was very curious to see what his opinion was. In regards to talking with him, he believes that the U.S. should not end overseas military operations. He says, “We have been sending our troops overseas for war and to defend our country for years and years, and have sacrificed our lives to make sure Americans get the freedom and safety that they deserve, so why end this now? Why end overseas military operations, when there has been so many citizens dying for our freedom? They would have died for nothing if we end this now.” The U.S. has prevented so many wars from taking place due to these operations. We cannot save lives without risking lives. The number of terror attacks today shows that the number of people slaughtered worldwide has risen by eight-percent in one year (that is a total of 32,658 people killed in 2014 around the world). Terrorism remains highly concentrated in five countries, with Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Syria. These countries cannot stand

    The United States is one of the leading suppliers of Foreign Aid in the world, and even though the US gives billions, European countries give aid money to the same countries, this causes many areas of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to be almost fully dependent on foreign aid. This means that without aid from other countries, they would not be able to support themselves at all.
