Recommended: Impotance of teen driving

Many teens in America are in a rush to get their drivers license. I would know because I was sixteen once. Getting a drivers license makes teens feel more like an adult, and they will feel free. However, I believe that they are getting a drivers license to soon. Many teens can get their drivers license at 16, and In some states 14 if they are working on a farm. Most public schools have transportation for teens like buses. Students should learn after school with parents or with classes until they turn 18. Teens should realize how serious driving really is, and if gone wrong what will happen. Driving is not for fun. First,Teens are not mature enough to get behind the wheel. When I was in school almost everyone had their drivers lisence but me it felt like. I knew nothing about driving yet wanted to get it my license anyways. I did not have a car or a job. "In the AAA survey, the most popular reasons teens gave for not getting their licenses sooner were they did not have a car; they could get around without driving; and that gas or driving was too expensive" (Vock 3). Even though I could get to school with a bus or with my parents driving me I still wanted to feel like an adult. I still wanted a drivers license to fit in. Teens should wait on driving if they have a bus to pick them up for school they should take that for granted because when high school is over they will not have that. When I lived up north in North Dakota The roads were always covered in snow. I was thankful that a bus could pick me up instead of driving.Students who did drive in my school got into accidents mostly small accidents not fatal. Teens may get their licence early because of pressure, But in reality they should wait until after high school with practice it will help keep them safe. Many teenagers get behind the wheel when they are not emotionally ready
