The subject of allowing teachers and faculty to conceal and carry guns in schools has always been a very difficult topic for most people. On one side of the fence, people want teachers and faculty to carry guns in school because of all the recent school shootings. Then you have those who think that letting teachers and faculty carry guns in a school is a bad thing for multiple reasons. There is one more group that is in the middle that want to teachers and faculty to carry weapons into schools, but with heavy restrictions. Firstly I would like to go over the laws around allowing teachers and faculty to bring guns into a school. The training camp also tries to make the situations as realistic as possible, so that when these teachers are faced with an issue they have some form of similar training. The majority of the few states that allow teachers and possibly other members of the school to carry guns on their schools premises require that the teachers have a concealed and carry license and some form of training whether it be one of the many training schools or another form of military or law enforcement training Next I would like to talk about those who are against teachers and faculty having some form of a gun on a schools premises and why they don't want it to happen. Even though there has been a rise of school shootings and other safety issues there are still plenty of people that are against teacher having a gun on a school's campus. The National School Safety and Security Services says a few things about why they are against arming teachers and school faculty.
