A controversial issue that has been bugging the school system. Should religion be taught in school? Various people have different opinions on whether they should be teaching about religion in school or not? But the variety of people has argued that there is a line between religious and state matter. Religion should not be funded by the taxes of education. Religion should not be taught in school for many reasons because it will cost a lot of problems, The teachers don’t know enough about other religion other than their own, There are various religion so it would be impossible to teach all of the religion, There too many differences between religions and finally would exclude atheist people being comfortable. Yes, they would be arguments, people argue about different things all the time meanwhile they are arguing what’s right and wrong but the children are also learning about other people's beliefs and their cultures. “Public school are also where youngster develop values particularly at a young, impressionable ages” (Ebscohost, Darden). If we start teaching them now they would have a more understanding of the world and they would be less disagreement on other things. The student also doesn't necessary have to have arguments as Au.org stated: “They can also talk to fellow students about religion so long as it isn't harassing” (www.au.org). They don’t have to have a dispute they can just talk about it like we do debates and it’s okay for people to have their own opinion. I believe that teaching religion in school would open more people
