What is a war crime? A war crime is a crime that is committed during a time of war. Should Graff be charged for war crimes? An examples of war crimes committed by Graff is when Graff committed genocide against the Buggers A definition from Farlex(A free dictionary website) includes “A widespread extermination of a specific group. Another example of war crime would be using children under the age of 18 to fight in wars. Some people believe that Graff should not be charged for committing these crimes, but some do think Graff should be charged with war crimes.
An example of a war crime committed by Graff would be when Graff committed genocide is by making Ender kill all of the Buggers on their home planet. Did he do the right thing by ending all wars? Or was he just a crazed murderer with too much power on his hand? Maybe children was the only way to defeat the Buggers, because they could outsmart the Buggers.
