The Pigman by Paul Zindel is about the lives of an old man, Mr.Pigman, and two teenagers, John and Lorraine. John and Lorraine were two “normal” children that went to school and had a rough time in their homes. The growing bond between John and Lorraine all started when one day John and Lorraine met on the school bus one morning. Due to the fact that the first time they met was on a school bus, there was no room for mortification to occur. Soon after, John started getting himself into trouble at school. Basically, John started setting off small explosives of all sorts during the afternoon hours of the day, which then lead him to receive the nickname “Bathroom Bomber.” On the other hand, Lorraine was a very well-rounded young lady that wrote as an avocation. Pignati a lot more often. The first time they met caused John and Lorraine an extreme amount of anxiety, because they knew taking money from an old and lonely man for no reason was really wrong. Knowing that taking the money from Mr. Pignati was wrong, Lorraine became very ingrate, which caused John and Lorraine to get into a slight argument. As the three started spending more time together, Mr. Pignati invited to take a trip to the zoo with him. Mr. Pignati used to always go to the zoo with his wife, until she went on “vacation” in California. During the trip to the zoo, Lorraine experienced many uneasy moments. Having said that, one of the uneasy moments Lorraine experienced was when she saw a lady that dissed everybody that got in her way. Another uneasy situation was when Lorraine saw a peacock cocking at everyone as if they had just harmed them or it was in a large amount of pain. Continuing, seeing children at the nocturnal bat section made Lorraine feel uneasy because it shot her bad memories of her past. Based what had already occurred, Lorraine had no idea where the friendship would go, but she knew it wasn't going to always be
