“This is the last time,” the girl said as she took her index fingers and forced them down her throat, and watched as the remains of her dinner erupted out of her body. The girl got up and cringed as she saw the remains of her Caesar salad spun around the porcelain and silently slipped away.
The girl made her way to the bathroom sink below the mirror, “I’ll never do it again,” she said looking up from the sink to her reflection in the mirror. She slowly wiped the corners of her mouth and cleaned the remaining saliva off her fingers and mouth. “This is the last time, this is the last time,” she repeated in her mind, “this was the last time.” She always felt remorse after doing it but for some reason she could never bring herself to stop. But this year the girl made a promise to herself to feel better, to do better, to be better, and the only way she knew to achieve this was to stop, but she couldn’t.
