Electronic gadgets always intrigued me to understand their functioning at a deeper level. This prompted me to perform experiments on dissection of household electronics right from configuring a Clapper to toggle the lights in my room to controlling electronic devices through different computer interfaces. Major decisions made right from my under-graduation to professional career have led me to this stage of life wherein I seek the opportunity to pursue a Masters in Computer Science. This realization first struck me when I began to gain interest in programming during high school while learning C++ and SQL as a part of my course. My interest in computers took me on the journey of understanding its basic fundamentals, wherein I was also recognized for my proficiency and awarded for scoring the highest marks in Computer Science. The subject of my interest and coursework includes Digital Electronics & Communication, Electronic Measurement and Instrumentation, Microcontrollers and Object Oriented Programming. The ElectroMechanical function of a sensor that converts a physical quantity or an effect into a signal fascinated me the most. I got introduced to a wide array of sensors in my undergrad course work at Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, Gyan Vihar School of Engineering & Technology Jaipur. To continue learning more about Sensors and Microcontrollers, I attended few technical workshops conducted by ‘Thinklabs’, an incubation of Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. I learned about different techniques of making smart vehicles which use light sensors to avoid obstacles, follow a path based on color, calculate distance of an object and respond to radio frequency signals.
