In the music videos the men would push the women against the wall, forcefully hold them them and sometimes ripped off their clothing but none of these actions are punished or seen as disliked by the women participating in the videos. Almost as if the men were trained by seeing these music videos; the women on the street of New York June 11, 2000 had their clothes torn, their bodies forcefully touched, and their hands held so they could not resist. A women in the video of the attack in New York was so shaken from what had happened to her that she breaks down in tears from fright and only then can you see a male helping her get out of the crowd but no one else is seen to have helped any of the other women attacked. It frightens me that a women has to reach the point of rock bottom when you no longer can do anything but cry out of fear to have someone help you.
