A final way that the secrecy of the marriage affected the play was the plot. An example of this is that the feud could have been stopped if more people knew about the marriage. For example the parents didn't know but if they did they could have stopped the feud. They knew that if someone dies that they will be banish and they are far more responsible. This affects the plot because if more people knew about the marriage they might have tried and accepted each other's families. Another way that the marriage affected the plot was that Romeo and Juliet would have never had to try and escape if everyone knew about the marriage. Who would be willing to die for their loved ones? Romeo and Juliet would and did. Romeo and Juliet’s love and death brought two families together who could not even remember the origin of their hate. When the parents saw what their children's love for each other, they realized that their fighting had only led to suffering and insoluble conflict. Romeo and Juliet loved each other to an extent that they killed themselves rather than live apart. They did it with no hiatus. Juliet says before she kills herself, “O happy dagger, This is thy sheath. There rust and let me die.”( 5, 3, 182-183) demonstrating how she would rather die than not be with him.

He is trying to portray that a name is only a name and it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things and that even with a different name that person will still be the same person they have always been. Shakespeare is using the characters: Juliet, Romeo, Lord Capulet, Friar Lawrence, and the Nurse to get this message across to the reader or the viewer.

Isolation is a forced or voluntary physical or mental separation from our surroundings. It is often used as a main theme in stories that are involved with tragic endings. Juliet's growing sense of isolation plays an important role in the development of the plot in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Throughout the story, Juliet separates herself from her friends and family physically as well as psychologically as a result of her newfound love, her own actions, and betrayal of the people she trusts.

Romeo and his kinsman, Benvolio, attend the party masked, searching for his first love, Rosaline. The feud continues, leading one mistake after another, until both families realize their selfishness at the last minute. But, there are some people who listen always and who people end up telling their deepest secrets to. These people are very important. When no one else will listen, these people will. Everyone should have at least one extremely trustworthy person in their life.
