They enable one save quite a lot of money while also helping to conserve the environment. The environment cannot care for itself and it is up to us to do it because if we do not do so, our future generations will be the ones to suffer. If we can save the environment and save some money while at it I say why not? Humanity in general will be the biggest beneficiary in the long run.
