The safety, Health and welfare at work Act 2005
The safety, Health and welfare at work Act 2005, hereafter referred to as SHWW, is the act which sets out the main resources for protecting and promoting the safety, health and welfare of people in the workplace. This act has replaced the safety, Healthy and welfare at work Act 1989. It sets out the following information:
1. The administration procedures necessary to ensure that these requirements are fully met.
2. The requirements of the HSA for the regulation of safety and health at work.
3. The authority, management and the structure of work necessary to achieve these requirements.
4. The responsibilities and the role of the employer, employees and others on site of the place of work

Safe egress and access:
