Recommended: Career aspirations in the health industry

Since a very young age I had a goal of helping individuals, families, and communities. When I got older it became harder to decide what route in the medical field I wanted to pursue and where I thought I fit best. I’ve gone back in forth between many paths including: pediatrics, orthopedics, pharmacy, physician assistant, and nursing. However, as I reached my senior year it became clear to me that nursing was best suited for me. Finally having a career goal, I set forth by applying to nursing schools with my number one being Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
