Once upon a time there was a brother and sister living on their own. They lived in a small cottage house middle of nowhere. No one visited their house. Sacagawea and Lingo worked hard everyday. Sacagawea was sewing clothes inside the house while Lingo was cutting woods for the fireplace outside. Sacagawea the youngest sister told her older brother, Lingo “we need more leather.” So Lingo went to the other side to go find squirrels and deers. He got distracted and he was swimmed in the waterfall and had fun. After Lingo got done swimming and having fun he went to dry up at the top hill where you can see everywhere around you. The witched had a black hoodie and long scary nails. The witch told Lingo to “sit down, my dear.” Lingo satted and he was afraid that he’ll get eaten by a scary witch. The witch offered Lingo a chocolate chip cookie but Lingo refused to eat it. When she turned around Lingo got up and ran to the door with a scared face. The witch turned around and said “Come back, darling I’ll tell you everything” and he said “No.” The witch got mad and said “I know you mother.” He felt like he was being tricked but he had to go back to find the truth about what happened to his mother. While Sacagawea in the house was tired of waiting so she got out and yelled her brother name “Lingo, hurry up before it gets dark.” With the yelling no response so she went to find her brother everywhere and she couldn't find him. So she went back to the house and looked but yet he was still gone. It’s been two days and he hasnt come home so Sacagawea grabbed her spear weapon that her mother gave her when she was 9 years old. During the Civil War there was a slave girl named Elizabeth...who worked on a plantation in Dorchester County. Her owner was a very wealthy man who was extremely paranoid that he would lose his assets if the war reached his home and the North won. As things began turning out poorly for the Confederates, the owner decided to hide his treasures in the Greenbriar Swamp. He took Elizabeth, who he called Liz, deep into the swamp and had her dig a hole to bury the treasure in. After the hole was dug and the treasure placed in it, the owner knocked Liz over the head and into the hole with his shovel. He could not risk keeping a slave with knowledge of the whereabouts of his treasure. As she was lying unconscious on top of the treasure, her owner began shoveling dirt back into the hole. Just before her face was completely covered, she regained consciousness and began screaming. Her owner just kept throwing dirt into the hole, however, and eventually buried Liz alive.
The grandmother always would tell the grandson different stories about the land, the people, pretty much everything in the world. But one day she told him about the Deer Woman, because she thinks that he is becoming a fine hunter. She told him that his grandfather told her the story of the Deer Woman, how she would appear to lone hunter and welcome them into her lodge which would be alone lodge with warm furs and robes and a fire going. They would go in there and she would take their souls, some would have families that they forget about because they go looking for the Deer Woman but they never find her, because the Deer Woman took their souls they forget who they are forgetting about their families. The grandmother tells him not to go into the lodge that he was to turn back from where he came from and keep walking away. One day the Young Hunter was out with a couple other hunter they were hunting for the tribe, well he was out by himself and he ran into the Deer woman. She welcomed him, the hunters almost went into the lodge, but he remembers what his grandmother
Raspberry gets an idea to clean elderly houses. Her friends complain when they go in the people homes but they have no choice but to stay because they get a lot of money. One day the girls was working and they finished and got their money. When Raspberry came home their door was open and all their furniture was gone. Raspberry ran into the house and went straight in her room. She checked under her bed and in her drawers but all her money was gone. Raspberry mom came home and all they can do is just cry. Dr.Mitchell called and Raspberry mom told him the story he rushed to the house as fast as he can. Raspberry mom was just crying and crying. Sacajawea is known as the Indian women who led Lewis and Clark on their famous expedition to explore the Louisiana Purchase and find the path that led to the Pacific Ocean. Born into the Shoshone tribe on their land of the Rocky Mountains, she was born in the lovely state of Idaho in 1788. Her story has been told all over the world in different countries and in many different ways. No one actually knows the real story of her life since all of her sources have been mixed up and combined into a different story. Sacajawea was shaped by three major events in different stages of her life ("Sacajawea").
In May of 1804, two men set out on an important journey that would take them across the country and discover new land, but none of it would have been possible without the aid of one woman. The Lewis and Clark Expedition was planned by Thomas Jefferson, in order to explore the unknown in the newly purchased Louisiana Territory, and also to find a water route across the continent. Along the way the group of men met a quiet native, named Sacagawea, whose impact would later have a large effect on the success of their important journey.
Billy is coming home from work one day when suddenly he hears some dogs up the street fighting. He goes to check it out and finds them picking on a redbone hound. He saves the dog and cares for it through the night. It reminds him of his childhood. When Billy was ten years old he lived on a farm in the Ozark Mountains of northeastern Oklahoma. He wanted two good coonhounds very badly, he called it “puppy love”, but his papa could not afford to buy him the dogs. For many months, Billy tries to content himself with some rodent traps his papa gives him, but he still wants a dog. Then one day he finds a sportsman’s catalog in an abandoned campsite. In it he sees an ad for good hounds, at $25 each. He decides he wants to save $50 and order himself two hounds. Billy works hard, selling fruit and bait to fishermen, and gathering fruit that he sells to his grandfather at his store. Finally, he saves enough money and gives it to his grandfather to order the dogs for him and asks him to keep it s secret. When a notice comes that they have arrived at the mail depot in the nearby town of Tahlequah, they decide to go into town the next week. That night Billy decides he can not wait any longer. He packs himself a little food, and heads of for town following the river through the woods. He walks all night, and finally reaches town in the morning. The people in town laugh and stare at the young hillbilly, but it does not bother Billy he is there on a mission to get his dogs. He finally collects his dogs and walks back out of town with their small heads sticking out of his bag. Some schoolchildren mob around him and knock him down, but the town sheriff rescues him. The sheriff is impressed with Billy’s determination, and says he has grit. That, night Billy camped in a cave with his two puppies. They wake up in the middle of the night to hear the call of a mountain lion. Billy builds a fire to keep them safe, while the bigger of the two dogs, the male, barks into the night air.
One day John came up to Juan and told him ,“ Juan, I am not going to bully you anymore, I want to tell you something.” Juan then said ,“Go ahead tell me.” Then John said ,“ Josh has either ran away or hid with a girl. His cousins are saying that he ran away with Emily” Juan then said, “ No, I don’t believe you.” John then said, “ Juan please believe me, Josh’s cousins said that he is leaving with a girl and they most of the time never lie. John adjured Juan to help him find out the truth, “I want to help you find out the truth.” John says,” I don’t believe you, but I’ll go with you. We will go find out the truth”. Josh said, “ Ok let’s go. Josh said that he is going to the village nearby our village so we will go
Throughout history, women have rarely been recognized for their contributions that have impacted the world. Sacagawea, a young native american girl, had a rough start in life by being kidnapped and sold at a young age. During the Lewis and Clark expedition, Sacagawea acted as both their guide and translator. Lewis and Clark were saved countless times with the use of Sacagawea’s knowledge and survival skills. Sacagawea was an important women in American History because without her the Lewis and Clark expedition would have failed.
Witchcraft is said to be the most widespread cultural phenomenon in existence today and throughout history. Even those who shun the ideas of witchcraft cannot discount the similarities in stories from all corners of the globe. Witchcraft and its ideas have spread across racial, religious, and language barriers from Asia to Africa to America. Primitive people from different areas in the world have shockingly similar accounts of witchcraft occurrences. In most cases the strange parallels cannot be explained and one is only left to assume that the tales hold some truth. Anthropologists say that many common elements about witchcraft are shared by different cultures in the world. Among these common elements are the physical characteristics and the activities of supposed witches. I will go on to highlight some of the witch characteristic parallels found in printed accounts from different parts of the world and their comparisons to some famous fairytales.

Dorothy found a pair of red slippers. The wicked witch of the west tried taking her slippers. They fought and fought. Everyone tried to stop the antagonist, the wicked witch of the west, before she stole the slippers. And finally in the end the wicked witch of the west melted away.
As she burned, the old witch screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She used and took their blood to make herself look younger

On Halloween night Sophia went trick or treating without a chaperone. She knocked on a door greeted by a grotesque witch. The witch’s eyes were blazing with hatred and flaming with anger. Sophia was terribly frightened. The witch said she was getting a treat for her instead she picked up a dead rat
The girl took great pride in the fact that she helped her father with the chores on the farm. Her main chore was to water the foxes. Laird would help with a small watering can though he would usually spill most of his water. The girl would also help her father when he would cut the long grass around the fox pens. He would cut it and she would rake it up. He would then throw the grass on top of the pens to keep the sun off of the foxes. The entire fox pen was well thought out and well made. The foxes were fed horsemeat, which could be bought very cheap. When a farmer had a dying horse her father would pay for the horse and slaughter it. Her father was very ingenious with his fox farm and the girl was obviously impressed. She was proud to work with her father. One time while her father was talking to a salesman he said, “Like you to meet my new hired man.” That comment made her so happy, only to have the salesman reply that he thought it was only a girl.
