An influential person in American history were the creators of the “Rosie the Riveter” advertisement campaign. This campaign included a women shown flexing with a caption saying, “We can do it!”. This campaign was influential because it helped to convince many women to do the jobs that men usually did, and women were treated with more respect after the war. The creators of Rosie the Riveter is very important. Firstly, they realised that women should have jobs while men were away at war. These jobs were very important because they were absolutely necessary for America to keep functioning. This is proved by the fact that before the women manned the same jobs the military was having a hard time at war, but after women were recruited their supply
