Rose started smoking when she was 13 soon smoking two packs a day and as a result 45 years later she was punished. First Rose almost lost a foot because her blood vessels were clogged, then she learned she developed lung cancer. Like most smokers Rose did not consider the consequences before she started smoking, “I regret picking up smoking in the first place," said Rose. "It’s just addictive." By age 60 she died from lung cancer and published her story hoping to inspire people to consider why smoking is a mistake before they do it.
