Everything that has a beginning must come to an end eventually. This being the same for the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty, they had a rise and they had a fall. The Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty were both very large empires, in different regions in the world. The Han Dynasty was in East Asia and the Roman Empire grew through The Mediterranean. However just because these two were far apart didn’t mean that they didn’t have similarities and differences. While both the Roman Empire and the Han Dynasty had military vigilance and civil wars contributing to the fall, the Roman Empire had to deal with epidemic issues. All these issues combined to cause the collapse of the Han Dynasty while also contributing to the gradual fall of the Roman Empire. A factor that led to the eventual collapse in these civilizations was military vigilance. Both civilizations hired mercenaries, which are not loyal to their cause. Mercenaries will turn on their hires if they want which definitely an issue for the government which leads to weak leadership. Also due to corruption in leaders the military was reluctant to follow the leaders so there was no one protecting the boarders and people in it. The civil wars had people trying to gain more power which divided the people in who they supported and who they did not. This meant there was not strong centralized power thus leaving the civilization open to invaders and attacks. All these civil wars connect to once again the civilizations political leadership because of all these civil war it leads to weak leadership and thus leads to invasions and some internal rebellion, this because the central government cannot take care of its people thus making the lower class upset. With similarities there are differences, and there is quite a bit of differences between the fall of each of these
