The Road Back Vogler mentions that the Road Back is a "stage [that] represents the resolve of the hero to return to the Ordinary World and implement the lessons learned in the Special World...Heroes gather up what they have learned, gained, stolen, or been granted... [and] they set themselves a new goal, to escape, find further adventure, or return home" (189-193). Once Harry has defeated Lord Voldemort for the third time, he recognizes that he must soon return home to the Dursley's house in the Ordinary World; a World where he is unloved, uncared for, and a nobody to those around. This is a “setback” where although “things were going well after surviving the Ordeal” within the Special World, “now reality sets in again” and Harry recognizes the daunting life he faces in the Ordinary World (Vogler 192).
