The company Riot Games Inc. the creators of League of Legends should revert the patch that was deployed on November 28th, 2011. The patch remade the “jungle” which altered the gold rewards, experience rewards, and gameplay. First off, there are three roads in League of Legends which are named after their locations, such as top, mid, and bottom lane. The bottom lane is considered the “side lane” and the top and bottom is considered “solo lanes.” The “jungle” is considered an off-road lane where a player can start besides the three lanes; where they kill minions and help “gank (is when an enemy is far from safety and the “jungle” player comes from the shadow of the off-road to kill them)” their teammates lane if they are losing or help them …show more content…
To balance the changes that were deployed, they made the minions “spawn rate (it is the downtime of when the minions come back to life again and again after they first killed them)” lower. Players can sit in the “jungle” and kill minions over and over to gain gold and experience consistently. The developers wanted to create a safe and easy place to obtain gold and experience without the pressure of opposing enemies. As players obtain less gold in the early 15 minutes of the game, they believe it is balanced because as time goes by minions, 20 minutes plus, will give more gold and experience than before. As the developers did not want the “jungle” players to have overall top gold gained in the game because they did not want them to take over the early phase of the game killing champions left and right. That job is believed to be for the “ranged AD carry.” The reduction to experience in the “jungle” was because it is safe place to kill minions. They did not want the “jungle” players to have the same benefit before with no risks. The reason they made these changes was because they were having too many successful “ganks,” which creates the snowball effect where “side lanes” or “solo lanes” win against their opponent and continue to beat them again easily because their death put them far behind in gold and
For instance, if Stacy was not performing well she would have to be told by another player to change something up to fix what she is doing wrong this will help with team innovation because Stacy will not be the only one told that she needs to fix something. Going off research about the team halo effect, we live in an individualistic society so the team halo effect plays a huge role in how teams measure success and failure. This makes it easier to explain why Marist has lost three years in a row to Wagner. Studies have shown that in a more collectivist society the team halo effect decreases or disappears. For the whole team to be blamed for the failure, there needed to be a team effort instead of having it be an individualistic game. If the team were playing together there would not be a single person to blame for it and the whole team would take the responsibility of the loss. Having the team play together as a collective unit will also increase the teams chases of winning. A way to incorporate the team is to inform the team on how the halo effect works hoping that after explaining it they would rather play as a unit and accept the failure together instead of blaming it on a
The moment everyone got a designated to a region or team, we already started having an in-group / out-group bias. Everyone designated to the red region begun thinking how we are going to do to make it progress, specially when we found out that we were the only region with nothing absolutely nothing no money, no subsistence and no travel, like I said nothing. We started thinking in a more of a socialistic point of view by making everything belong to everyone in the group and if it was not enough for the entire group to survive we will die together; this made our group to have group cohesiveness by having a perceived unity, we decided that we will start a riot against the other groups to make them realize that we needed their help in order to survive.
Should everyone get a trophy. That has been pretty big public conflict. The answer is no, not everybody should get a trophy, medal, or ribbon. Only the victor and possibly the 2nd and 3rd places should get one. This is because some of the budget of companies is spent on trophies. Another reason is that what if the players are just really bad? That builds up their confidence way up.
League of Legends is a popular computer game in the world. The first time I play the game which is recommended by my a high school classmate. The game doesn’t have high image quality. The game’s graphics had a little dark, and some characters’ models were terrible even some of the models were horrible. However, they had a right direction. They spent time to improve those images again and again. They also continue to design new characters and make the game more counterpoised. Now they have 133 characters. They have different roles such as assassin, fighter, mage, support, tank, and marksman. League of Legends isn’t only a game, it is also a good teacher because the game is a multiplayer game
It is nice to play, but if individuals worked as much as they play we would have a much more efficient economy.
Weaknesses Poor management of player relations. Deteriorating brand image of certain players. Little to no control of the players off the court. The goal of creating a fair playing field among big and small market teams has led to too many regulations. Few superstar talents to draw fan attention/loyalty.
center with the pool tables and a line of arcades in front of me. At least nine to twelve players are gathered around 2 gaming arcade machines in front of me. The two main popular ones that are of interest would be the Street Fighter 3rd Strike and the Marvel vs Capcom 2 machines. The gamers are heavily immerse in watching the players and cheering them on. I am observing four players playing on two separate machines. The two players who are on MVC2 are wearing both hooded jackets and baggy jeans with tennis shoes. It seems they were here for quite a while. Backpacks are off to the side of the machines or lying around randomly near them on the ground and some half eaten snacks can be seen on the tables nearby. A quick glance around allowed me to take in the surroundings. There are three pool table games in session occupied by two to four players per table. Three girls are having a drink to the table directly adjacent from my stool across the room. My location is near enough from the arcade machines to allow me to easily view the players and note all of what is going on and far enough to remain hidden and unsuspected of recording the scene. I am recording with my Nokia N95 with Carl Zeiss optics 5 mega pixel lens with creative sounds voice amp. I am wearing a zip up hooded jacket and some baggy cargo pants with a pair of vans allowing me to easily blend in as a normal spectator. Soon after, there are at least six to seven guys spectators for the four players. And also noted at ten minute intervals, the losers rotates out with one of the players lining up to be the new challenger of the victorious. The guys seem to be much louder and animate on the MVC2 ...

As an avid fan of an atmosphere enthralled with competition, and packed with an indefinite supply of suspense and engagement, I can confirm that the Rocket League title fulfills the natural tendency of our minds to wander into a world in which competitive superiority, and progressive advancement yields satisfaction and promotes collaboration. Indeed, after 896 hours of gameplay, I have experienced exhilarating victory - the product of numerous nail-biting saves, howling shots, and graceful aerial goals of which solidify one's sense of freedom. From the novice ranks of Prospect, boasting my innocence as a new player in the world of Rocket League, to the evolution of skill and advancement in competition as was highlighted by my rise to the star ranks-later known as Platinum and Diamond- I enjoyed pondering upon the idea that I had an everlasting potential to improve and increase my rank. Watching the champions of Rocket League engage in fierce battle
amongst the league, which would help the small market teams be able to compete in a fairer
If only the best players get trophies, others feel bad and discouraged and most children no longer want to play because they do not believe they are good enough. But if they get a participation trophy they will most likely continue to play, which can shape their future, if they practice. The more kids

Video games are commonly known as games that you play for fun or as a hobby, but what if this fun could turn into your profession. Most video games started out as arcade games played to reach the highest score. People played with a "fistful of quarters" each day to try and reach the top of the score board. A prime example of someone who is well known on the high score board is Billy Mitchell. In the documentary, King of Kong: A fistful of quarters, Billy stated,
There are essentially two different types of teams: Platoon and Scramble. Working in a Platoon team means that there is a team leader who has all the authority and responsibility. If I am to be a good team player, then I must follow the leader’s orders with enthusiasm. A bad team player, in this case, is someone who questions authority and does not follow through with his or her assigned tasks. Scramble teams operate on the basis on shared responsibility. In this scenario, the team leader works for the group, and there is open expression of ideas between the team players. Good team players will say what they think, but they will also listen and go along with what others have to say. A bad team player will not follow through on tasks, and/or pout when things do not go his or her way.
This line of thought leads into another problem found in the zone. The rating system! To be honest, I don’t like it; players become too obsessed with there ratings. Have you ever lost a game and went “DAMN IT!” not necessarily because you lost, but because when you look at your nick again it will be down 8 points.
