Rick Perry Biography James Richard Perry was born in the small town of paint Creek Texas, on March 4th, 1950. In a town with the population less than 400 you have to find things to keep you occupied. Perry spent most of his time working on this family ranch. Even at a young age, Rick Perry reach his goals. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout scout I feel like; at a young age, he was determined to do good things.

Rick was accepted in the A&M University. 300 miles away from the small town of Paint Creek Texas. He graduated after 4 years with a bachelor's degree in animal science. During college Perry was a male cheerleader after college, he enrolled in the air for Air Force Cadets and did extensive training he retired as a commanding officer after he retired he move back to Paint Creek. After being affiliated with a group of conservative Democrats. As governor, Perry was very successful. When in office for governor of Texas, he created over 2.1 million dollars in the past decade. Forbes named Texas number one in business, almost every year for the past eight years. Perry also made the criminal justice rates go down by relaxing penalties on small drug crimes, etc. He signed and passed many justice laws to achieve a lower crime rate.
