Forty-four President, Barack Obama, in his 2009 Inauguration speech, his plans for the future of America while he’s in office.Obama’s purpose is to give Americans hope for the future and change how other countries view America. He uses pathos,fear and patriotic. Barack begins his fifth paragraph of his Inauguration speech with “Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred.”(5) He talked about that as a nation we’ve become a network of violence and hatred, not only to ourselves but to others.
