Renaissance was the era followed by the Middle ages, an era of dramatic population decrease, Black Plague, food shortage, climate changes, economic and political corruption. Renaissance was highly regarded as a rebirth of education, art, population, economy, Greco-Roman ideas, and a time of enlightenment. What renaissance was mostly known for was art. These art often reflected political and social events. For an example, Michelangelo's David, and Creation of Adam showed humanism.
