Remember Me
Throughout life you will meet many different people. Some of them you will forget in a matter of minutes. Others you might think about every now and then, wondering how life is treating them. Then there are the people that touch you in some way. Maybe just because they smile at you everyday, maybe they are there for you at times when no one else is, or maybe they did something special for you that was greatly appreciated. Whatever the reason, there are always people out there that you will remember.
I am an ordinary seventeen year old girl. I have posters of cute guys hanging on my bedroom walls and my favorite stuffed animals rest on my bed. My closet is full of clothes, half of which I don’t wear, but it’s full just the same. I have a house, a car, more friends than I ever asked for, and a good life. However, all of these things do not make me. I am a thoughtful teenager, striving so hard to grow up and yet, still so full of dreams.
My biggest dream of all is to be remembered. I want to touch people in such a way that they will never forget who I am. I want them to tell their grandchildren stories about me and for them to tell their grandchildren and so on. That way, I’ll still be alive years after I actually die. However, this will be very difficult.
I don’t know where to start in my quest for being remembered. Everyday I wake up, take a shower, get dressed, brush my teeth, and do whatever I have planned for the day. That’s certainly nothing to be remembered for, but it is only how I begin my day.
If I go to school, I get in my little black Tracker and drive up 741 to the parking lot. I pull into spot 41, get out, throw my bag over my shoulder, and go into the building. It’s a rare occasion that there isn’t a smile on my face throughout the day. I go to my friends and ask them how they’re doing. I know they can count on me to sincerely listen. I’ve worked hard for many years to become a good listener.
If I go to work, I maintain a smile as well.
I aspire to become a leader in my family and community inspiring those around me to maximize life to its fullest potential. To use my God given gifts and talents to apply the principles necessary, to make a significant difference in the lives of others. To live a balanced life challenging myself intellectually as well as allowing time for my mind to rest and do things I enjoy. To look at life through a child’s eyes, not being distressed about the past or worrying about the future. All the while dancing like nobody’s watching.
My only life time ambition I have for myself is to be able to help each and every individual who comes my way needing help, becoming a social worker, a foster mom, and to adopt a child with Down Sydrome. I know and understand that my dreams might be a bit over my head for the average person, but I will accomplish them. At the end of my life when I am old, have gray hair, and my eye sight is even worse that it is now, I want to look back at my life knowing I was able to help everyone I possibly could.
Later in life when I have a job of my own I hope to become like my grandfather and get a job and make it my life. Also I hope that once I find my goal that nothing will stop like the miners in Crown of Dust.
My biggest dream is become a doctor surgeon, be one of the best here in Laredo, Texas to help the people of my community, I will take being a Hispanic as an advantage to achieve all my goals because now is one of the best things that can passed to my
the country side or being President of the United States, every one’s dream is different. Willy
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
Our most significant memories are shaped by who we are and what is important to us. They are often guided by those around us, who help us to remember. Memories can be triggered by things: objects, pictures, music, tastes and smells, colors and physical feelings. To quote Cesare Pavese: “we do not remember days, we remember moments.” Shared memories connect people, create a sort of legacy. They reinforce our sense of community. One reason why memory loss due to illness or old age is so tragic is that it can distance a person from loved ones who have shared common life.
Memory is one of the greatest gifts a person can have, even though they can cause people pain and bad memories occasionally. People will always have their good memories to look back on.
I have you, my friends. You who look out for me, yet allow me to be myself. Eat cheesecake, drink a beer, run barefoot through the grass—and enjoy it! I know that my life could be much worse. We all know that. Thank you for listening to me bitch about my world. I’ve needed to for a long time. Now let me return to being one of you. After all, I’m just another classmate, another student, another stranger on the street.
In conclusion, for an organ donation in the United States different states have slightly different laws, rules and regulations. To donate and transplant both donor and recipient must follow the laws. When building relationships with others it is vital that you remember information that is important to them. This information is usually personal; things such as remembering the name of their pet or an out of school activity will make them feel valued by you.

My dream career would be: Becoming a nurse. Nurses help people in many different ways. They work at a fast, but focused pace; work side by side with Doctors and surgeons. Nursing has been a dream of mine for many years. There are many different kinds of nurses. The nurse I would strictly want to become is a nurse specialized in geriatrics, taking care of people with dementia. To work in this field you have to have an understanding of what is all involved. To be able to understand all aspects of the different kinds
One of dream, is to enter the engineering field someday, because I for my love of subject that include math, Science, and Technology. Since a little kid, I've always been fascinated by, and driven to understand, the way things work by breaking them apart. I believe high school would get me ready to pursue engineering as my career by taking the right courses, finding the right fit, and having more experience. Having a dream is the first step of
Most people have dreams. Big ones or small ones. Even the most successful people had dreams and that is what has made them what they are today. Dreaming is essential for a human being. Without dreams, you will lose interest in life and finally hate to live life. You will be
