Abundances of Intentions
There is an abundance of intentions behind love, ever-changing with the help of society and time. This is seen through the many relationships between Taming of The Shrew and 10 Things I Hate About You. Katherine pulls out three main types of relationships in the stories; family love, friendship love and romantic love.
Family was once about having the same name and that’s all. In the play “taming of the shrew” Baptista states in Act 1 Scene 1 Page 2 “I’m determined not to permit my younger daughter to marry until I have a husband for the elder one”. Family has now developed into depending upon and loving and protecting one another.
