Refugees Vs Crucible

In my opinion over the the Syrian refugees and the Crucible’s witch hunt, I think that this is a modern witch hunt because it deals with the same principles the Salem people dealt with. I also think that Arthur Miller would agree with me, because he relates with the unfair treatment against a group of discriminated people. It is relatable because the people of Salem feared anything different from normal, and were scared of it. That in part is what is happening to the Syrian refugees and other people trying to enter the country from this region. The Syrian refugees are not being let in because of their religion and fear that they could be disguised terrorists trying to sneak into the country. To repeat, in my opinion I think that it is because we, Americans, will not let the Muslim people into the country because of a fear, that may or may not be justified. I think that Arthur Miller would agree with me as well because he in a way went through the same thing that the accused people in Salem went through. He also relates with John Proctor and the struggles he went through with his marriages. Miller had many problems through his own marriages, as John, and he never could forgive himself or find a way to right his wrongs. He also felt the same prejudice that the, Muslim people and the people that were accused of witchcraft. I think that he would believe that enough is enough of the unfair treatment to these people. I believe that he would also speak out against this problem and many other problems in the country and other countries across the world. So therefor I believe that Arthur Miller would want the immigrants to be let into the country. I think also think that we would both say that this is a modern day witch
