Communication is a shared language that allow an individual or individuals to communicate with someone who speaks the same language and where they can share their beliefs, value, thoughts, feelings and traditions with one another (skills you need, 2016). According to Merrian-Webster (1828) “communication is using words, sounds, signs or body language to express an ideas, thoughts, and feelings” (Merrian-Webster, 1828). Communication is one of the building blocks in a relations that can build trust, respect and loyalty a relationship. According to Stewart (2012), communication is a process of verbal (p15) like in person, telephone or video call, and nonverbal communication (p16) like body language or sign language. My insightfulness allows me to be able to read others and understand things from their point of view. My verbal expression allows me to have a clear and concise message. I am slightly assertive when I stand up for myself even though I still have difficulty in expressing my opinions views. I am able to listen and be attentive to others when they are expressing themselves. I get frustrated and overwhelmed when I can’t find the words to say. I need to practice on my communication skills, so I can be more effective when communicating with others (Carbonell, 2005 and 2008). Looking at my “S” personality, I am a reserved kindhearted person, considerate of others, respectful, helpful, and I don’t like drama (Carbonell 2005). According to Carbonell assessment (2005), I have all the personality type but S and C stand out the most. With “D” I am voice my opinion and “I” I encourage others.
