The only source of knowledge is experience as great minds have told. I went through the same thing during this semester as I was doing all my English Assignments. It was July 2016 when I first travelled from my home country Nepal to United States in pursue a better degree in computer science. One that is better than my country has to offer. I have been regularly studying a course in English ever since I know even during High school. Every time I learnt an English book it was as if I read a story in the book just to answer some questions about the story that will appear in Exam that is how education system worked in my country was we learnt grammar and some stories from popular writers we had to memorize events in the story just to be prepared …show more content…

After doing LSA 3 and 4, which were interview template and biography, I understood what I had to do for MWA2. At this point, my understanding of Rhetorical Situation and Genre(SLO A)(SLO A) were vastly broadened, I could now analyze, compose, and create any arguments and situation and on any topic. Another paper was also due at the same time when MWA1 was due the Reflection paper where we had to reflect what we wrote like what I thought my audience expected of me ,what piece of information from my memoir will be most interesting to them and so on. I was given an opportunity to reflect on my writing and what I learned by writing the assignment. When I reflected my writing I realized my mistakes the major mistake I did was I first did the memoir and then I tried to find out my audiences ,tone and other but what I had to do was the exact opposite and then I remembered my in class assignments where I had already learned this things so I had to do the whole memoir again. It also pointed out some of the other errors I had in my writing. After knowing this, I am confident that these mistakes will not repeat again. When I changed my style of writing I realized how effective and easy this way of writing is this is how I learned Writing as a process using reflection I could track my progress and know what more can I do and include in my writings to make it more
