The relationships people have with foods best reflect the work I did in this course because it tends to be highly complex and multifaceted. In my opinions, the role of food is not just limited to being the source of nutrition in the context of human beings, but also assume various roles in various elements of their culture which include beliefs, socioeconomics, and their overall daily life.1 I intend to impact the culture and relationships that people have with foods in such a manner that logic and element of diet consciousness are incorporated in this mix. Apparently, this is a marketing gimmick that has been peddled by business enterprises found in the food industry.2 In a bid to prove their social status, many people are shunning the traditional lowly priced foods that have high nutritional value to highly priced food stuff. I intend to trash this erroneous assumption that highly priced foods do not mean that they will be beneficial to the body. I want to impact the sphere of food cultures and relationships by carrying out massive education so that people will not be pegging their intrinsic value on the price tags of foods but rather the nutritional value that such food …show more content…

In other words, I would like to see the food industry to have undergone a complete transformation both in the context of its commercialization and the players in the next couple years. On the same note, I would like to see nutritionists taking a prominent role in educating the masses on the benefits of proper diet and the best foods to consume to achieve the same.
If I could improve on this piece, I would continue to advance my studies and try to contribute as much as possible to make it possible to have a future food industry where archaic food cultures that limit some people from consuming certain foods that have a high nutritional value are done with.
