I want to start off saying that I enjoyed my experience in your communications class unlike no other. I learned a lot of new and useful writting skills all while having a good time along the way. I would like to believe that I have progressed as a writer throughout the courses time. I definitely believe that I benefited with learning many new writing techniques. I was astonished how fun at times a communication class can be. I am a fan of group projects and people working together, and I was able to work with partners. I enjoyed the interactions between classmates and how everyone 's opinion was heard. The coaching assignment in particular increased my knowledge of how important it is to organize paragraphs. Realizing that organizing paragraphs will help my reader with a more fluid reading experience is crucial. I understood that without having paragraphs it 's as if a person is shedding a light beam straight into one 's eye. Another main learning point in this assignment that I found helpful is transitioning between paragraphs. I found that transitioning paragraphs helps tie the paragraphs together for a better reading experience. All of these skills increased my knowledge in writing greatly. The last main idea I got out of this assignment was the importance of having a strong topic sentence. I felt as if this assignment was similar to the video summary assignment because I picked the same video. This assignment didn 't teach me many new writing skills; however, it did reinforce the skills from the last assignment like quoting and paraphrasing. I did learn how to set up an argument, and the message the author is trying to convey in a formal paper. The lessons from this assignment strengthened my paraphrasing, quoting, and ability to organize
