My definition for inequality is oppression & prejudice from discrimination and other’s belief. In all honesty, I had never thought about a distinct recollection of the two and considered that all people are equal. Being biased (prejudice) oppression is when the system develops a community that works against the specified social class of society. In a way where specific advantages are favored to certain races and sexes. I say this because it is blatantly noticeable that the market of the competition only desires a self-interest that it provided towards the people in the United States of society. I say this because it is no secret because we support these organizations that have that type of mindset. We the people are the ones who literally feeding the invisible hand and they put it in its invisible pockets. There are areas of the economy where the competition is appropriate for the market. In my opinion, I feel like people go to work or go to school for their own self-interest. In order for you to buy the things you want. You work so you can get paid and in going to school helps lead to a better job someday and get a better earning like more money or better benefits for your the things you want or the things that interest you. In fact, most of these economies doings that we observe around us at this current stage results of self-interested behavior. You act a certain way for a certain reward of behavior. Adam Smith described it best. "It is not from the kindness of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest." Love each other and not ourselves put the work together to better each other on a daily basis and we could live a happier and wholly life. However, it is only my opinion not everyone would agree with that and that is why we are truly in a great explanation of not solving inequality. If I were to suggest the government help society with inequality, and construct laws to equalize opportunity, ultimately it would come a time where it is going to oppose and effect on the government where they would not go for it at all because of profitability issues and being a capitalist.
