I selected the story “Popular Mechanics” by Raymond Carver (1981). The story described a couple breaking up, and both of them wanted to keep their baby boy. However, no one would give in. They got physical during the dispute and hurt the baby eventually tore the baby apart. Although the story was well written, I don’t think that I like it. What is the title of the text and what is the text about? The title of the story I chose is “Popular Mechanics” by Raymond Carver (1981).
