Rachel Carson once said’’ The edge of the sea is strange and beautiful place’’. Rachel Carson was a great Marine Biologist. Also she was an amazing writer. Rachel wrote all her books from her experiences of being a Marine Biologist. Rachel Carson helped change the world in many ways.

Rachel Carson was very inspiring to the world. She wrote lots of amazing books. She was a Marine Biologist for fiffteen years. Rachel Carson was born on May 27,1907,in Springdale, Pennsylvania. Rachel went to Chatham University and graduated in 1929. She studied at the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory. Rachel got her MA in Zoology in 1932.She was hired at the U.S Bureau of Fisheries. Rachel won a national best seller award for the book Sea Around Us. The book Sea Around Us was translated in thirty different languages because the book was so amazing and inspired so many people. Rachel Carson helped change the world in many ways. She was also very inspiring. Her amazing book,Silent Spring touched many people's hearts. Her book was how lots of different pesticides kill bugs and animals. She was saying how bad it was for the environment. Her book also said that the bird and fish populations could be threatened. Also the pesticides could be dangerous for humans and make them be sick. Lots of people learned from Rachel Carson. Rachel influenced the environmental movement and no one else has done that since the 19th century.

I want to be a Marine Biologist like Rachel Carson. I want to be a Marine Biologist because I love Marine animals. I also want to help the Marine animals when they get hurt. I would want to make the world a better if I was a Marine Biologist. I would make the world a better place by making sure the ocean is clean,making sure the ocean is safe for people and animals to swim in, and by cleaning up trash and oil spills.
