From the get-go Elizabeth's life has been in the shadows of her older more responsible siblings yet she still managed to do more than all of them put together. Sexism is all around you during these times of great innovation. During all this she had to manage a country handed down to her that was in war as well as dying off. Queen elizabeth was very important to the renaissance and life without her would have been very different from the outcome of the war and who would have taken the place after her. To start off Elizabeth l was the queen of England and if she wasn't there to receive the throne there would of been no within the family to take throne after Mary's death. Since Elizabeth becoming queen she pulled England out of war with with France and the outcome would have drastically changed which means France might of won that war if it wasn't for Elizabeth l. The crown would of most likely gone to Mary the queen of scots considering she was the cousin to Elizabeth l. Elizabeth also saw Mary as a threat so therefore a good candidate for the throne already. Elizabeth also caused multiple men to die while she was alive. One of the men who got killed due to her was Thomas Seymour. When Thomas asked for Elizabeth's hand in marriage she said no. Queen Elizabeth was never married but she used marriage proposals to gain ties with certain countries. Since she was never married people called her the virgin queen. So if she wasn't around the other queen probably would have married therefore meaning a husband and a king so a very strong tie with the king's country.The king during this time thought something weird between the two and accused Thomas Seymour and Elizabeth of plotting against the king which and Elizabeth didn't get punished but Thomas got executed for treason because he made an attempt to kidnap the boy king.
