Introduction I will be looking into the roles of the manager, supervisor and an employee in Qualities Foods (Appendix 1 This how the shop looks like.) What the qualities of an employee looks for in each of the roles and the training and development opportunities in Quality Foods. I have chosen Quality Foods because it is the nearest and local supermarket other than the big and popular supermarkets. Manager: The manager is in charge of the development of the Quality Foods. The aim of any retail manager is to maximize profit while minimizing costs.The importance of the manager in Quality Foods is that he or she allocates jobs to his employees making sure that the skills that they have is right for their job and so they can be successful and trying to help them in any way from Bullying to Promotions. (Appendix 2 this shows how a manager help his employees.) He is also there to make a schedule for everyone to work and try his best to fit everyone. The position of the manager in quality foods would be very high because he would be talking with the Owner of the business and making key decisions.
