Beowulf is the longest British poem about an ancient hero. Beowulf is more interesting than what expect, especially towards the end. Beowulf sacrifice himself for redemption, it makes the people sad a bit during the fight with dragon. The story basically reflect that although human being can be seduce easily, but they can also have the courage to overcome and be a responsible person. In “Beowulf”, author use the element of theme, characterization and conflict to described this King’s psychological changes. First at all, Honor is one of the themes of this poem that uses to give the reader a better understanding of the long poem. When Beowulf fights with Grendel, Beowulf insisted to not use any weapon. The quote state: “He tossed his sword aside, Angry; the steel-edged blade lay where He’d dropped it. If weapons were useless he’d use his hands, the strength in his fingers.
