Social Networking Communities Social Networking has become a really big trend in our time. Most people think social networking sites are bad for teens. Teens all around the world can connect with each other using the internet for communicating through social media. Talking with people you don 't really know is a bad thing because they are complete strangers. I feel like we should not encourage our teens to join social networking communities because they may have a hard time picking up with face to face conversations by not spending face to face bonding time. You never know the person that 's on the other side of the screen that you are on and you really don 't know what other people on the internet are capable of, there are real life hackers out there that can also gather your information somehow. I have been DDos (Denial of Service) before by other people from the internet and never even knew what was going on or why this was happening to me. This is when people on the internet get your IP address and send attacks to the modem or router through your IP address so you have no internet connection. for a while. This has happened to me several times on a certain video game I was playing on the PlayStation
Some teens are really disrespectful when they get on the media especially when they are talking to someone they have never met or talked to before. They tend to act hard and most teens would never walk up to someone in person and disrespect them. For example, If I 'm online and some teenaged kid decides to start calling me names that 's because he is hiding behind internet, this kid would never talk to me the way he talks to me online if we ever met in person. This is because teens are feeling to comfortable and think they can do and say whatever they want. Another problem that I see on social networking communities is violence with teens on social media. There are many fights that teenaged kids post on social media that you can watch and some videos uploaded may even be posted by someone you know but they may choose to make a fake profile and stay anonymous..
