In our process, young females will have their eggs extracted, frozen and stored when they start their menstrual cycle. After having the procedure done they will not be able to apply for unfreezing until the age of 18. In the application process the woman will have to prove that she is married, her or her spouse are wealthy enough to take care of a family, and have a stable and safe environment for a child. The whole jist is to prove that they could handle five hundred kids if that is what they wanted (exaggeration). The process is almost comparable to the adoption process. Once these qualifications are met you can have your eggs unfrozen and begin reproducing. What if the family wants multiple kids? If the family seeks to have another child they will then again apply to the government with another application. What if twins/triplets pop out? While going through the application process, the potential parents must provide a history of both family backgrounds. This will show the likelihood of having either twins or triplets. If there is a chance, than the family must provide documentation that proves they can support two or three children. Having background history also allows the government, as well as the family, to be aware of any disabilities the child may have. If by chance, the child shows signs of disability, than the potential parents must again show great financial stability to cover all the child’s costs for doctor visits, surgeries and other expenses. A few options have been used for a long period of time: the couple could adopt a child or keep trying to have a child themselves. For those couples that want to have their own children, there are new options arising. In vetro fertilization is an option that gives couples the chance to have a doctor combine the male's sperm and the woman's eggs in a petri dish and implant them into the woman's womb after the artificial conception. This may result in multiple pregnancies - more than five in some cases. This does not only occur in implantation, however. Many times the patient's doctor will ask her to consider selective reduction: aborting a few fetuses to save the ones she can. Today’s young Americans face strong peer pressure to be sexually active and engage themselves in risky behaviors (Merino 100-109). Anyone deciding to have sex must first think about all the risks involved. Kekla Magoon, author of Sex Education in Schools, says that “half of all teens aged 15 to 19 years old in the United States have had sex” (Magoon 64-65). It is currently not required by federal law for schools to teach Sex education and those few schools that do teach Sex education have the decision to determine how much information is allowed. Advocates from both sides of the Sex education debate agree that teens need positive influences in order to make practical decisions (Magoon 88-89). Opponents of Abstinence-only education believe it fails because it does not prepare teens for all the risks of sex (Magoon 64-65).

There are many problems facing teenagers these days. None are bigger than the issue of underage sex, and all the issues stemming from it. The number of teenagers becoming sexually active, pregnant, and contracting sexually transmitted diseases are rapidly on the rise. There is no simple fix, or easy solution to this problem. Sex education should begin at home, and extend to include an effective program in schools that reinforce a clear message of abstaining from sexual activity in addition to informing students of the risks posed by engaging in sexual activity. The political, and religious dissension on this issue has resulted in a procedural stalemate preventing schools from effectively addressing the problem, and implement a comprehensive sex-education program that benefits young adults in Texas and the rest of the United States.

At first glance, assisted procreation practices do not necessarily violate a child’s right to identity. Instead of imposing criminal sanctions or punishments, the state is too often turning a blind eye. The addition of a child into a family’s home is a happy occasion. Unfortunately, some families are unable to have a child due to unforeseen problems, and they must pursue other means than natural pregnancy. Thirty-five percent of the pregnant teenagers chose to abort, as they fear that the consequences of the pregnancy might have significant effects on their lives. The problems that come with teenage pregnancies include dropping out of school, receiving inadequate prenatal care, developing health problems, relying on public assistance to raise a child, and probably divorcing their partners.
