Visual Presentation In order to provide an entertaining yet informative presentation for High School seniors on project management as a career choice I would outline the benefits of the career and contrast them to other career choices in the market place. I would include a power-point presentation bulleting the key points and functions of project management and step through a project from conception to realization. I believe that the project I would step through would be the production of a video game or something of the sort to better retain the attention of the students. They would surely be more interested in that than a systems upgrade of a manufacturing plant.
In this assignment, a practicing engineer that has experience in working in project management was interviewed. The purpose of the interview is to increase my understanding of what engineers do at the workplace and to educate future engineers on how to become successful in their fields.
From this study conducted, the knowledge, skills and abilities that I need as project manager is very well explained and can help me to focus and achieve success on my career path.
