A.Procedure in staring up a business
Since I have no background in investment and finance, I will first look for trainings or seminars for me to attend to to become knowledgeable in this field. After having enough background with this and understanding the concepts, I will now search for possible competitors in this field of business. It is important to know competitors and possible customers to prepare beforehand. For me, to become an effective project manager, you have to have a specific set of skills that can define you from others. You don’t have to feel entitled and all that, but it would be better that if people saw you walking through the corridors, your aura will feel like someone professional’s coming their way. First, you have to be able to influence your team, your co-workers, or even anyone. Influencing them is not really changing them in your own desire, you influence them by doing well and setting yourself as a good example for everybody. You influence them not just verbally but also with your actions. Another, as a project manager, you should also have leadership skills, team building skills, and trust building. In my opinion, these three links with each other. In order to lead, you have to know your team well and to build their trust in order to work well together. You don’t put people in a team because they know each other, but because of the specific skill set they can bring to the table. You should know their strengths and weaknesses and assign a certain people in a team that will complete it. Another skill a project manager should have would be communication skills. Communication skills are actually important to everyone. This is how you communicate your ideas as well as communicating with the other team leaders as well as the higher ups. Political and Cultural Awareness is also a skill that is important to have as a project manager. It is important to become aware of the changes both politically and culturally. As a project manager, it is important to know how to motivate your workforce. Also, it is important for project managers to have a decision-making skill that will help a project manager to deal with unforeseen events that require him/her to make decisions rapidly. It is important to consider the pros and cons of a decision you are making and I consider it as a great skill to give an answer 3 seconds after being given a
