Discuss some of the conflicts, issues and problems that arose during the Civil Rights movement in the 1950's and 1960's, as well as current Civil Rights issues. During the civil rights movement of the 1950’s and 1960’s there were countless problems that arose, one such issue was that of Rosa Parks in 1955, an African American woman who refuse to move to the color side of the buss and was arrested and fine, therefore causing controversy and a yearlong boycott of the Montgomery, Alabama bus system by the African American community. Ultimately in 1956 the outcome of this demonstration provided a ruling from a federal judge prohibiting segregation on buses.
