The United States stands for liberty, justice, and freedom. Towards the end of the 18th century, fifty delegates gathered together at the Constitutional Convention. The goal was to effect “great consequences for the cause of liberty throughout the world” (Foner, 263). The Pro-Constitutional arguments will be addressed in my paper, and then my personal reflection. Does the Constitution stand for liberty, for all? The first argument by Pro-Constitutionalist is the Constitution removes prejudices, and places interests among all states.
