Luke's Heroic Journey in 'A New Hope'

In the movie A New Hope, Luke had to go through a lot of challenges to find Princess Leia and destroy the Death Star, even though his family and friends died, and planets were being destroyed, he just kept going and was brave through it all. For instance he had to leave the planet he had lived on his whole life, not get caught when the millennium falcon was taken captive by the Death Star, and when he had to make an almost impossible shot to destroy the Death Star, and save a ton of planets from being destroyed. One of the first challenges Luke had to face, was when he had to decide wether or not he would leave his home planet, and go with Ben to rescue Princess Leia. At first when Ben asked Luke if he would go with him, he said no because his family needed him for the harvest season. But after he found his family burned alive in their home by the storm troupers, he realized that he had nothing to go back to, so he said that he would go with Ben to save the princess. And went with him without question, and with hope that they would be able to save Princess Leia. Then next challenge he had to face was when the ship he was on, (the millennium falcon) got pulled in by a tractor beam to the Death Star. But through all of that, he was brave and kept fighting for what he knew was right. So I think that this story teaches us that, sometimes life gets tough, and even when it seems like you world is falling apart and you have nothing to go back to. If you try new things, take some risks, and do what's right, then everything will be ok. There will still be some challenges later on, but as long as you have hope, everything will work its self out, for the greater good of this
