Perform a comparative analysis that reflects the difference between freedom and predestination. Provide an example of each and reflect how these theories are applicable for today's society.
Predestination: the doctrine of the Bible, says that God has a purpose and He is working all things out according to His own will and purpose. Predestination teaches that God neither does nor permits anything except what serves. His purpose, this means that GOD IS the SELF-GOVERNING of the world, the one who does all things as he wills. (Houdmann.2013)
From a religious perspective, which I am of Lutheran faith, I believe that there is a “GOD”. I was baptized and confirmed in my faith. Predestination is the belief that everything is laid out for your life from beginning to end, that you are born, you have lived life to your fullest and when you die, you either go to heaven or live an everlasting life in heaven or you go to hell. Everything is written in GOD”s eyes, time doesn't matter.
