Jones is about a little girl view on the people during her first day. Her mother prepare her gave her an unusually breakfast and clothes for her new school Seaton Elementary all the way down New Jersey Avenue. At the school Walker-Jones, a key event happens to her. She learns of an essential fact of her mother pervious past of her life and on how she acts. The daughter sees that the mother does not seem to like the teacher of her daughter new classroom. First Off, In Inherit the Wind, Bert Cates is originally just an average school teacher who teaches evolution in a state where it is illegal to do so. He then is charged and to be tried in a court of law whom Harrison Brady, prosecutor, is a purebred Christian. While Mr. Cates defence lawyer is an atheist. It is a battle between both beliefs but Mr. Cates is seen to be the devil of it all. Just because he wishes to teach something he believes in makes him a bad man. In the Film, the director perceives Mr. Cates to be this average man whom is against them all. Mr. Cates is nothing but a lone soul that must fight against the world for what he believes in.

As time passes, Kingston progressively changes her thoughts and views of her aunt that change from innocence to immoral throughout her life. Kingston is much older and no longer contains the innocence she one had. This idea of Kingston’s thoughts from pure and caring to shameful and spiteful is evolutionary. The change of Kingston’s opinion through the story shows that humans can feel very strongly about a topic, but can also be influenced to think differently. Just as Kingston grows older, humans become more mature and their perspectives on life begin to change in many ways. Similarly to this, is Jason Reitman's film'Thank You For Smoking' which is a satire of the perception of promoting smoking, but not to the level in which it is disregarded, as no character smokes on film.
Lee, never fooled anyone. He may have seemed strong in the beginning but he no substance under the shell. Such a false front can be compared to water behind an earthen dam. It may hold some water for a time but once the water finds a weak point, the whole structure comes crashing down along with the fury of all the water behind it. Within brady, the water represents the gooey inner core of his personality. Once he loses his composure in front of his once adoring audience the entire fluid of his persona comes crashing out. The only strength of Matthew Harrison Brady is his power in deliveringh his ideas. As in the earthen dam example, the townspeople represent the city protected from the water by the dam. Once the dam breaks, all the townspeople below get wet and are shaken to their foundations. Matthew Harrison Brady, without a doubt, deserves no sympathy. One example of Brady’s overly self-confidence would be "No…I believe we should welcome Henry Drummond." (Pg. 25). Ha! What a shock he is in for. Instead of solar power making a comeback as the ideal form, we are seeing a growth in the use of wind power. Wind farms are beginning to crop up all around the country. This new trend has gathered significant attention. Questions are being raised concerning the effects wind farms may have, from critics and supporters alike. Michelle Nijhuis, in the article “Selling the Wind” discusses the arguments on behalf of and in opposition to the increasing use of wind power, addressing what the consequences may be on the United States.

One example was the 1925 Monkey Scopes Trial in which John Scopes was being prosecuted for teaching Evolution. In a similar vein the speeches led by Senator Joseph McCarthy and the trials known as the “Red Scare” enraged many American authors and producers, leading these individuals to spread their own ideas and to defend civil rights. Two playwrights who lived through the “Red Scare” trials, Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, addresses the oppression of the McCarthy trials by a meek character called Bert Cates throughout their play named Inherit the Wind. A nationally recognized lawyer, Henry Drummond, uses his gift of freedom of speech to support Cates. Cates love interest, Rachel Brown, grows intellectually and portrays the change that Lawrence and Lee want to see in Americans. Furthermore, Brady comes to prosecute Cates for teaching Evolution throughout the schools in Tennessee. In this allegorical play Lawrence and Lee’s use of symbolic characters challenges the status quo and inspires American intellectual growth.

Over the years my family has taken numerous road trips across the country. During these trips we would pass through countless wind farms which would peak my curiosity. Therefore, I decided to do some research into wind turbines.
There are many different sources of energy that are naturally available throughout the world in different forms. There are two types of energy: renewable and non-renewable. Non-renewable is made from fossil fuels; which can include oil, coal and wood. They are non-renewable because they are not regenerated immediately, and it can take between 100-100,000 years to make a fossil fuel. They are important because they produce constant energy throughout the world. This is because of their high availability. The problem with non-renewable energy is that, when burned, they release harmful greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. Especially when the world, as a whole, is using too much too quickly; and therefore the earth cannot replenish the fuels naturally or quickly enough. Renewable sources of energy are obtained from different natural sources. A benefit about this kind of energy is that it can be replaced and it is sustainable. Renewable energy is important because it is used significantly in electricity generation and heating. It is also important because it can be replenished, and therefore it is better for the environment.
In the recent years, the impact that wind energy has had in our daily life in general, is undeniable. Therefore, when it comes to the question that whether wind energy should be further developed, people’s notions vary from one to another. But one indisputable factor is that the growth of wind energy is skyrocketing and this trend is expected to continue into the future.
