Throughout Schindler’s list there are many different concepts of power displayed. One of the definitions of power is, “the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.” I think that this definition describes the way that Amon Goeth used his power. He abused the power he withheld by killing and acting in cruel ways just because he could. By acting so ruthlessly, the Jews feared him and would do whatever it took to stay alive. The power he had corrupted his behavior. On the other hand, Oskar Schindler knew the power he possessed and used it for the better.
